Which payment methods do you accept?

Crabtree Lane is a secure shopping site and accepts all major credit cards through our processing partner - Paypal. You don't need a Paypal account to buy with us. All of your financial information is kept private and secure through Paypal - we never see your card details or any account information. We also accept payment by cheque - you can select this option at check out and we will give you all the information for how much to pay, who to make the cheque payable to and where to send it.

How is postage calculated?

Our postage costs are based on the size and weight of the product plus a small amount to cover packaging. We offer you Royal Mail 1st class or 2nd class postage plus Hermes courier delivery at the point of order. If you would like to specify an alternative delivery method such as Special Delivery or Signed For then please get in touch before you place your order and we will arrange this with you.

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Prices shown include UK VAT for UK and EU sales. For sales outside the EU the prices shown include VAT at the 0% export rate. If you require a VAT invoice for your purchase please contact [email protected] 

Do you accept International orders?

Yes - we welcome international orders. You can see the shipping costs for all products once you select your destination country at the check out.

What about customs charges and any import duties?

Please note that you are responsible for any Custom Charges or Import Duties which are payable when the parcel reaches its destination. It's advisable to contact your local Customs Office for current charges, as these costs will vary from country to country.

When will my order be dispatched?

Our hand-picked products are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days from the date we receive your order. If the item is out of stock we will contact you immediately and give you the option to cancel your order if required.

If you need an item in a hurry then do let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

What happens if my order does not arrive?

In the unlikely event that your package is not delivered, the first step we take is to check the delivery address provided. We always put a return address on our deliveries. If a package comes back to us from a non-delivery we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. We will charge postage cost for re-issue.

If your order has been mislaid in the post - we ask you to wait 10 working days before we re-dispatch the goods or issue a refund. This is the time period after which Royal Mail consider post as officially 'lost'.

If you have selected Hermes courier delivery - we can easily track your order and provide you with an update. Please contact us with your order number and we will sort this out for you.

Can I return my items?

Yes, your purchases are covered by the UK Consumer Regulations Act which means you have a minimum of 14 working days from the date you receive the goods to let us know that you want to cancel your purchase.

If the goods are faulty then we will happily pay the return postage costs. If you have simply changed your mind then return costs will be at your expense.

We recommend that you return any orders for refund or exchange using a trackable method such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. When you return you order please include the order number, your name and your address. Returns should be sent to:
